Its been nearly one and a half years since I started a new website https://sathya-sankar.com. The sole purpose of this website, which is still in active mode, was to get some random upvotes from steempress and make myself feel comfortable continuing journey on the steem blockchain. Nearly over 16 months down the line it appears that I have earned very little in comparison with the amount I put to maintain the site. However, one thing im pretty sure about is that I have got accustomed to website management and am quite well at my knowledge about the website.

I never knew the depths and advantages of having my own website until I reached steem. Now that from what I know so far, I know it very well that one can make a good amount of money if they manage their website properly. In the last year, I applied twice to get google adsense account approved. Unfortunately, my application got rejected all two times and then I tried some other monetization methods. But all those attempts were futile as I've messed up this website, highly!

And now that I have fair knowledge about almost everything related to this realm and am thinking about starting a brand new website with a catchy domain name so that search engines could easily figure out the contents present in my site. I'm gonna monetize my website by using some affiliate links and will try my luck again with google Adsense. Let's wait and see what's going to happen!
