When it comes to speed in splinterlands, Pyre is always the first choice, and that too in the low mana rulesets. Low mana does not necessarily mean the rule where only monsters four or below can be selected(**LITTLE LEAGUE**). For example, if you get a 13 mana rule and no matter what powerful and mighty monsters you may have or rented, it is wise to pick a summoner that has certain abilities like **SPEED** and monsters that give it more speed like the flame imp and imp bowman. Of course, this is true only if the fire is present in the rules of course. 

What if you get water only. Then it would be better to choose the ruler of the seas which gives speed to the rest of the team and also blasts the opponent. If you do not have those, it would be better to choose the thorny sea genie. Including a sneak, in any case, is a good idea provided you keep it in the back. 

Yesterday, I faced a team where the sneak was the front tank and obviously, it was dealt with quickly. I could sense that the opponent was either a bot or an inexperienced player but surprisingly, the account was a loaded one. So, if you are hiring a player make sure he or she knows the job otherwise it could mean loss of points and money besides time.


So, now that people are talking about crypto winters and what not. Some are thinking of giving up. Really? I am surprised because we all just witnessed a few souls who came back to hive when the price rose and then talk about crypto crash when there is a correction. Such people are the ones who will never make it big because one - they are always in doubt and second, they quit when there is a slight problem and rush back in when there is money floating around. 

It takes real guts to stick around when things do not always go right and if people quit splinterlands, then it just means more dec to the other players who stick on. As simple as that. Seems heartless? Well, it is what it is. 

Now, back to the game. Whether other games come and go and whether players lose interest or not. Splinterlands will always continue to intrigue the gamer and it is here to stay because Hive is decentral land and no one can do anything to harm it and the gamer is always the top priority.
