TESLA: Does a 75% Drop Make for a Good Time to Buy
Stocks are not something I considered at all over the past couple years. All I saw was a frothy market pushing ever higher on liquidity and knew at some point the tide would need to turn.

Well, 2022 turned out to be that wave and now I am finally interested in stocks again as so many are trading exorbitantly lower then they were just a year ago.

### Tesla is one of those names..

Looking at the chart you can see this thing got smacked! It has been in a clear downtrend for over a year now and sold off so bad recently that it pushed below that existing trend.

##### Time to buy?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I will say this though, if I plan to acquire shares of a stock, especially one of a growth company, I much rather do it after is has gotten beat down.

Tesla is down 75% from highs. That is a pretty big drop, even if it is not the low (which it may not be, $92 is totally feasible when looking at the charts) I'm comfortable buying some shares here for a long-term hold.

When I say long-term I mean atleast 5 years. I do wonder if we will see a relief rally in the near-term after all that selling. Price action could certainly use it, but right now the bears are still in full control.
