First off, I have to say I've enjoyed seeing the #FunkyEdits tag start to take off. It really is a fun way to explore photography and edit something a little differently and more dramatic than usual. So thanks to @krazypoet and @tattoodjay for this great idea! 

I took this photo on Christmas day when I visited Hermosa Beach to watch the sunset. For my funky edit, I wanted the horizon to melt between ocean and sky in a fiery blaze of orange. So of course that means over saturation. :) I tried this several times over the last few days but my first attempts were too saturated to the point of blowing out the entire photo. This morning I tried again and got the result I wanted. So here's my latest Funky Edit!
