# Substratum [SUB] Substratum is a very interesting project I stumbled upon recently. It finished its ICO last month below the radar of many and is currently trading below ICO price on EtherDelta. It has not been listed on any other exchanges yet, but is in the lead of winning the voting spot for Binance: https://www.binance.com/vote.html  ## What does it do? Described as "The decentralized web", it is basically a web hosting service on the blockchain, where content hosters pay in Substratum, it can be viewed from most traditional browsers and host nodes can earn Substratum by providing hosting power (e.g. over night when your PC is not in use). Their roadmap includes further features like decentralized video streaming and an integrated Paypal-like payment platform "CryptoPay". You can currently sign up as Beta tester for the platform! ## The Team The team consists of a group of very experienced developers and are credible ideologists. Although from different backgrounds and companies, combined they have been working on projects for clients like Apple, facebook, Disney, hp and more. They care about their community and give regular updates on the progress of the project. Because of the unexpected price drop after the ICO, they decided to burn parts of their own tokens to help their value rise.
