Jeff/Billy Bob, Daniel/Rake, Allison/Mimi Meow, Evan/Katcharf, and James/Zayden meet for the first time when their Fixer (agent), Modulana, invites them to her office in downtown Seattle.  They get briefed on the mission, which you can see on the "mission" tab of the Cybermage Google Sheet. She's into music and is composing a song while briefing the group. "Welcome and harmonic resonance to you. The Moonite Temple on Bainbridge is recruiting. While others have been and will be sent to infiltrate, your group's stanza has much relevance to the greater song. My client wishes your primary goal to be acquisition of information. With more information, we will then re-asses and decide on which key to proceed. May the tones embrace and support you." The group heads out on foot toward the docks with the goal being to get a ferry to Bainbridge Island. Allison/Mimi Meow scouts ahead in her minidragon form. A few blocks away, she reports back to the team that a woman is being chased by three shady-looking characters.  The team gives chase into the alley Allison/Mimi Meow saw them all run into. Jeff/Billy Bob hangs back at the alley entrance to keep watch. The team engages in combat with the assailants. The woman they were chasing (Putara) starts using psionics to try to get our crusaders to run away and then to drop their weapons. They are all able to resist. Evan/Katcharf trips and falls to the ground. The street tough he was fighting jumps on him with dagger extended but misses. They wrestle passionately.  Meanwhile, two more gangbangers come running to join the fray. The team begins to suspect they were set up; that Putara may not have been a damsel in distress.  Allison/Mimi Meow shoots one of them with her triple-barrel crossbow. Jeff/Billy Bob shoots one with his double-barrel shotgun. James/Zayden teleports in and out, hacks some electronics but the results doesn't go as he wished.  Evan/Katcharf extracts himself from the wrestling and stylishly cuts his opponent in half with his Ridiculously Humongous Sword. Daniel/Rake does quite a bit of stealthy damage. Allison/Mimi Meow cuts a throat. Putara, "woman-in-peril," teleports herself and one of what looks like might be her gang away. One of the others of her gang teleports himself away.  In the end, our heroes capture one of their wounded and question him, hoping maybe his gang was involved with the Moonites but it seems it was more of a random encounter set up by amateur street thugs to lure anyone with a heart into an ambush. They terminate the wounded street tough, loot all of the enemy dead, and move on. Our team visit a "store" (matter recycler & printer) where they can upgrade some of their equipment and then head to the docks.  At the docks, Evan/Katcharf, attempts to intimidate the dockmaster, Morris Binnaker, and instead alienates him, getting banned from the ferry. So our half-dragons, Evan/Katcharf and Allison/Mimi Meow choose to fly across the bay to Bainbridge Island while the others book a spot on the ferry, which gets under way almost immediately.  After getting under way, Jeff/Billy Bob finds the ship's Captain and gets to know him while Daniel/Rake uses his charisma and "Create Dance Party" skill to get a bunch of people dancing.  He charms a woman who has a platinum necklace he fancies (he has klepto issue) and then puts a sleep spell on her. Under the auspices of taking her somewhere quiet and safe, he carries her from the "dance floor". Unfortunately, a doctor (Dwarf Cleric) and one other guy get suspicious and follow. The doc revives her while Daniel/Rake is caught in a lie. A crowd gathers and mob sentiment goes against Daniel/Rake. The Captain is called. Jeff/Billy Bob follows him. The Captain assesses the situation, offers for Daniel/Rake to undergo a lie-detection test on the spot via the Captain's magical rod. Daniel/Rake refuses the offer. Allison/Mimi Meow and Evan/Katcharf are still flying and reverse course to attempt to get back in time to help Daniel/Rake. While still in flight back toward the ferry...  Jeff/Billy Bob - being a moralist (and pragmatist?) - backs the Captain. The Captain offers a new ultimatum to Daniel/Rake: Leave the ship now by jumping overboard. Daniel/Rake draws his weapon. Jeff/Billy Bob knocks Daniel/Rake over the rail and into the water.  Allison/Mimi Meow and Evan/Katcharf arrive. Evan/Katcharf lands. The Captain, backed by a mob eager for violence, confronts Evan/Katcharf with, "You have no ticket. Get your ass off the ship now or face the consequences." Evan/Katcharf takes flight, scoops Daniel/Rake from the water, and heads to an unoccupied beach on Bainbridge Island to land. Allison/Mimi Meow joins those two. The rest of our fearless gang makes landfall at the docks on Bainbridge. Jeff/Billy Bob chats up the Dwarf Cleric from earlier and finds out the guy is heading to the Moonite Temple to join. So Jeff/Billy Bob offers that they travel together. He finds out the temple is only a 20 minute walk up the one road and easy to find. Daniel/Rake, Allison/Mimi Meow, and Evan/Katcharf decide they want to get to the Moonite Temple ahead of the rest of the group, so as to gather information and not appear as if they are together with the others.  Scene closes with our heroes speaking with Lunahippa at the Moonite temple. That's where we paused the mission.
