Approaching the ridge and couloir from Blackwater Lake.  Birkenhead peak area, near Pemberton, BC, Canada.  2000ft of vertical drop.

Part way up the bootpack.  Slope angle is around 45 degrees.

Top of the 4 hour bootpack.  Slope angle here is about 55 degrees.  Very steep and sketchy.

Near the bottom of the skiing.  2000ft of steep, awesome skiing.  9.5 hour trip car-to-car.
