It was a beautiful day today, so I took Quill dog and the camera out for a snowshoe hike to nearby Prosser Creek, in Truckee, California. It's been a few days since it's snowed, so what snow was on the ground is starting to get a little more dense and firm which makes it easier for Quill and I to get around. There were other people out there enjoying the snow and beautiful scenery, but not many. This cross country skier made for a nice subject matter.    Prosser Creek was looking magical with the bright white snow and ice along the edge. Quill just had to go in, but he didn't last very long. Brrr.     It was a fun snowshoe hike. Great exercise for both of us. And I ended up with a few keeper photos for the website!   "Quill!" I was trying to take a cool little video of the icicle and dog, but yeah...
