# Hail to the Hive! I had a few plans to accomplish things today yet somehow they did not get done and I am going to lay the blame squarely at @mingetoot’s feet as he tempted me down to the boozer….again.  It is a paricularly nice boozer though. Nearly all of my old favourite pubs are no longer in existence yet this pub ‘ The Blue Boar ‘ seems to evoke vibes and bring back memories of many of them but all in one little room. I like the place.  And they do serve a good beer. In fact beer is their focus. No music, so you can have a proper chat, and not other distractions. Just beer!  I’ve grown quite fond of this Rocky Pale ale, so much so that the bar staff know it’s what I will order and I’ve only popped in a few times ( ok maybe more than a few but then what’s a few anyway?) which makes one feel really welcome and makes tou feel part of the place.  There’s always plent of choice depending on what tickles your fancy. Stouts  Hoppy beers  Interesting flavours  Dangerous really.  You could het so carried away. Easily.  This is how I feel when I leave the pub after several pints of whatever takes my fancy.  And this is how I feel when I get back a little later than I said I would. @millycf1976 is very understanding and knows I’ve missed home and the company of old friends who tend to lead me astray.  It’s good to be home amongst real friends again. ### Another beer anyone?
