Hi everyone, I'm happy to share with you some of my works of art. I've been painting for about 14 years (self taught) working mainly with oil on canvas but i love experimenting with other mediums too. Remembering the day i've decided to pick up the paint brush and let go comes easily. It's like it happened yesterday, and it all started when i got my first paycheck a couple weeks after I graduated from high school. Simply random and the thought process was simple, what can i do for the rest of my life? Always loved art, so Art it was!! I didn't do it because i was naturally talented (it took a lot of hard work) or thought of myself as something special but there was a drive in me that wanted to communicate my ideas, thoughts, and philosophy. I never thought there would be a day of appreciation or anything like that. All I wanted to do was make my art. there's been many doubts, ups and down and I can't tell you how many times I wanted to give it up but for some reason i never stopped and thankful that i didn't. There was a purpose, a thought that maybe someday all this will make sense. I've always like projects, solving problems and different ways of thinking but you always have to be aware there's criticisms that are going to follow. What i would like to show the world in my interpretation could and was shown to be viewed completely different from mine. It been a very eye opening journey to say the least. We see the world very differently and even in a subject that i thought was obvious and clearly displayed others would see something more than even i and thats been a great life lesson. It's a great conversations.

As i started getting involved in the art community more and more there was a kind of respect that I had to earn. Very competitive people all thinking they know everything. very opinionated, but for the most part i've meet a lot of amazing people. Art now for me is a lot of work, its like having your own business but your the machine, product and advertising. I'm happy to say that art has been working out great for me, still always room to improve but that's what i love about it, if it wasn't a chALLEnge it wouldn't be worth it. I now have a nice new art studio that i love its like my little getaway, place to escape from the world if you know what i mean...?

I'm really passionate about Steemit it's perfect for me it makes me want to research more. Share some of my secrets and tricks. I like putting value behind posts and pushes me to put more quality into the message or at least with write. this is probably the most effort i've ever put into a post. Great exercise for the mind muscles. Feels like a new chapter in my life. Also believe there are a lot of really smart people on this site working really hard to figure out all the problems and steemit has a very bright future.

Heres a picture of my new art studio :)

Say hello to one of my first paintings ever. Cool part about this piece is i acually got to go to New City for the first time to drop it off because somebody in New York bought it! That city is nuts, walked away with a lot of crazy stories but i think the best one was the dance off I had with some idian guy. Damn that guy could dance, couldn't beat that awesome 360 spin move he had! But hey i tried!!

My first time graffiti.
