One of my Favorite Lineups for Explosive Weaponry Ruleset

When I see the Explosive weaponry ruleset the first thing that comes to mind is playing the red team lead by Jacik summoner. There is an alternative way to play it in particular when there is a Holy Protection ruleset in play as well.

In this post I am going to share my favorite lineup for the explosive weaponry and holy protection ruleset.

## The strategy
The strategy here is several fold:
1. Speed - Lira The Dark  and Supply Runner boost the Speed of the entire team by two points
2. Evasiveness - Astral Entity Summoner provides evasiveness to the entire team as well as removes two shield from the opposing team
3. Corrupted Healing - Arachne Weaver provides major healing for my front units

## Card Roles in this Lineup
Beyond the general strategy each card in this lineup has it's own specific role in making this a successful deck.

**Summoner**

Astral Entity is a legendary death splinter summoner from the Chaos Legion card set. This summoner role is to summon the team. At six mana this summoner adds evasiveness to all other cards on the team as well as removes up to two armor from all enemy units. It also resurrects one card in the friendly lineup when it dies using its Resurrect ability. In this ruleset it is important to remove armor from the enemies so that my ranged attackers can deal more direct damage to the enemy units. Evasiveness is also very important in the explosive weaponry ruleset because it helps friendly units avoid the damage to potentially three units when they are hit.

**Main Tank**

Arkemis the Bear is my main tank in this lineup. I like playing this common promo tank because it comes with quite a few important abilities and has huge health that can be restored by my corrupted healer. For the explosive weaponry ruleset Protect ability is very important. Additionally Halving ability is always helpful to reduce the damage from the first card in our opponent lineup. Force field ability is also great as it protects the Bear from those attackers that feature five plus damage. And finally Enrage ability could be very helpful in the blast ruleset as it can deal a lot of damage to the first two monsters.

**Secondary Tank**

This Epic rarity soulbound reward card has a huge health of twelve, four speed and a nice set of abilities: Flying, which makes it harder to hit, Weaken which reduces health of all enemy monsters by one, Silence which reduces magic damage from the opponent as well as Blind which makes it harder for the opponent to hit our monsters, which is important in this ruleset. 

Will-o-Wisp doesn't come with any damage it can deal and that is where my Weapons Training monster comes in.

**Weapons Training Monster**

This legendary monster is very useful as it provides weapons training as well as resurrects one friendly monster. It also has an important Fury ability where he deals double damage to his target if the target has Taunt ability.

I didn't manage to max out this soulbound reward card, but even at level three this is a very useful monster that I tend to use all the time.

**Corrupted Healer**

Arachne Weaver is an Epic rarity card from the modern soulbound reward set. This card is key to my deck in this line up as it uses it's corrupted healing ability to keep the two big health point cards in the front of my lineup alive for long time. It also comes with scavenge and poison abilities both of which are very useful.

**Speed Boosting Opportunity Attacker**

Lira the Dark is another legendary card from the Chaos Legion Core set. This card is key to my play as it boosts the speed of all friendly monsters and has high ranged damage of four and has an opportunity ability that helps strike those glass cannons in the enemy lineup and takes of divine shield from the adjacent monsters.

**Speed Boosting Ranged Attacker**

Supply Runner is a neutral common card from the Chaos Legion Core set. Supply runner boosts the speed and health points of my entire team. Both attributes are critical in the blast ruleset as they improve survivability of my units. 

## The Battle

It looks like my opponent has a similar lineup but is not focusing his fire on the front like my lineup does. Let's see how that would play out:

At the start of the round two our team is not doing that great, we seem to be loosing health faster than our opponent:

Round two had a lot of misses from both teams and our Beard miss was one that hurt the most, hopefully it will stop missing:

Their front take with the speed of six and phase and evasiveness ability proved to be really bothersome causing lots of misses from my team until it was finally taken out in the round six:

And in the round seven we finally scored a win earning over a thousand glint and almost seven SPS tokens!
