Pressed charcoal botanical drawing
I find drawing with pressed charcoal a good exercise, it's hard to erase and easy to go too dark if you are not careful. Good for getting a high contrast drawing.
I recommend using a mechanical pencil for a good control of the charcoal, I've tried drawing without one and it is not the same.
