the places you dont want to eat at. its a must read, you really want to know this believe me
good evening my fellow steemians.

today i wanna tell you about something about fast food.
most of us like them.
they give big portions , for a small amount.
always tasy, and good looking food.

or not?

well today im going to tell you that its not.
gonna show you some images and messages about how bad they really are.

wanna start with a story about popeyes.

a woman claims that when she ordered a chickenmeal at popeyes,
that she got a rats head instead of chicken tenders.

this is her story.

HARLEM — A woman claims she discovered a rat's head in her Popeyes chicken.

Rosemary Thomas said she found the fried head in her food at a Harlem Popeyes restaurant, at 2730 Frederick Douglass Boulevard on West 145th Street. She posted pictures of it to her Facebook profile.

She was at the restaurant with her sister, daughter and niece, according to the post.

"This is clearly a rat and they have the nerve to have a 5 rating by the department of health," she wrote in the Facebook post.

"My daughter is traumatized. I had to take her to urgent care last night, vomited with diarrhea all day."

Thomas did not respond to multiple attempts to contact her made by DNAinfo.

According to the city Department of Health's website, the Harlem fried chicken chain was last inspected on April 21, 2016 and received an "A" grade.

But the year before, inspectors wrote that the facility was "not vermin proof" and has "harborage or conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises and/or allowing vermin to exist," according to the DOH's website.

Rosemary Thomas said she was at a Harlem Popeyes restaurant, at 2370 Frederick Douglass Boulevard on West 145th Street, when she discovered a fried rat head in her chicken.

Renee Kopkowski, a spokeswoman for Popeyes, said the corporate office has reached out to the franchise owner regarding the incident.

She said it's not common to find unusual items in the chain's chicken, but she said when things are found they usually turn out to be chicken organs.

She said the company will be in contact with the supplier to figure out what happened.

Kopkowski said the franchise owner — who could not be reached for comment — is upset regarding the incident. She said Popeyes has contacted the health department and they had not found anything unusual in the restaurant Monday.

She said Thomas is expected to bring her chicken to the restaurant Monday and meet with the franchise owner to test it.

The health department told DNAinfo New York it received a 311 complaint this morning regarding the Harlem Popeyes and sent a public health sanitarian to investigate.

Kentucky fried brain? Mother horrified to find 'something foul' inside her chicken - but KFC says it's not a health hazard
Brisbane mother found something that 'looked like a brain' in her KFC
She called the store to complain and was offered more chicken
A KFC spokeswoman said the incident was not a health hazard

A KFC customer said she will never eat at the fast food chain again after biting into something that 'looked like a brain' while eating a piece of fried chicken.
The woman, who did not want to be named, was forced to spit her food out after she tasted something 'foul', The Courier Mail reported.
She purchased the chicken from Redbank KFC, in south-east Queensland, on Thursday night according to Facebook comments.

'I called up the store because we'd already had issues with other parts of the meal,' she told the publication.
'The potato and gravy smelt like a cigarette tray and tasted like cigarettes.'
She said that she called the store where she bought the meal and was offered a gift card.

'Well I got a phone call this morning [Friday]. They said how sorry they are and they would like to gift me a free bucket of chicken....ahh no thanks after both myself and my partner were sick late last night. Most likely from this sad excuse of food,' the woman posted on Facebook.
A KFC spokeswoman said the company was sorry for the customer's experience, but assured it was not a health issue.
'Our chicken is hand-prepared and cooked fresh, but occasionally mistakes happen and organs are not removed when they should have been,' the spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia.

Horrified child finds deep-fried PAPER ROLL within KFC chicken

A SEVEN-year-old was horrified when he bit into a piece of KFC chicken and discovered he was instead eating a deep-friend PAPER ROLL.

Oliver Hallam was bought the KFC chicken meal by his step-mother Krystal Henderson as a treat.

But when he bit into what he thought was a piece of chicken, it was rock hard.

On closer inspection his appalled step-mother realised that it was actually a piece of blue hand roll.

Ms Henderson, a nursery nurse from Gosforth, Newcastle, said: I got a shock. "I thought the actual chicken had gone off. All it was inside was deep fried blue roll.

"Realising it was blue roll was worse than chicken. If it was bad chicken they might have just had a bad batch or something, but the blue roll could have been used for anything - it could have bleach or disinfectant on it. "

"I didn't know where the blue roll had been because it was screwed up. Had someone wiped their hands on it, had it been used to wipe the floor?

"To give that to a child, I felt so guilty even though it wasn't my fault. For a child to bite into that is horrendous.

"When he bit into it, it was rock hard. He pulled it out of his mouth and when he did, it pulled away the batter - you could see the blue roll inside.

"If you bite into something that awful you are just taken back."

The mother-of-two had purchased the £1.99 takeaway chicken meal for her and her step-son to eat at home.

But after the shocking incident, she returned to the Killingworth restaurant to complain, only to be told to call customer support.

The 29-year-old said: "I was traumatised by it - I was really upset.

"I went back into the store crying and they said I had to call customer service.

"I had to keep ringing them and keep following it up. It felt like I had to do all the work when it was their mistake.

"I work full time and I'm a mother. I just don't have the time to keep chasing them up and ringing around. After what has happened, I shouldn't have to."

After their horrible find, neither Oliver nor his step-mother plan on eating at KFC again.

Ms Henderson said: "Oliver is only seven but he knows exactly what was going on and he doesn't want to go to KFC again.

"He didn't eat anything for the rest of the week. He completely lost his appetite. He wasn't unwell or grumpy, just lost his appetite."

After an investigation, KFC apologised to Krystal and offered her a free meal.

A letter to Ms Henderson read: "The blue tissue has most likely originated from a tissue roll used for KFC hygiene purposes.

"The store assume it must have fallen unseen into the breading lug that is under the sieve and was not noticed by the cook."

A spokesperson for the franchise that operates KFC in Killingworth said: "We're very sorry for Ms Henderson's experience and apologised to her immediately, as well as giving her a refund at the time of the incident.

"We take food quality and hygiene very seriously and unfortunately, on this extremely rare occasion, our restaurant failed to meet the high standards that both we and our customers expect.

"We have retrained staff on our stringent food preparation procedures at this store to ensure this doesn't happen again."

one thing whe can be sure about is that it is actually chicken.
not the meatiest part tho, its the head.

here is the story that comes with the chicken head.

Back in the year 2000, a woman in Virginia bought chicken wings from McDonalds. If you recall they tried serving chicken wings for a while and this might be the reason they stopped. She found a fully formed, battered and fried chicken head in the box.

well no chicken at mc donalds for me neither.
maybe a cup of joe

This past October in Fredericton, Canada someone ordered a cup of coffee from his local McDonald’s only to get a not so happy treat at the bottom of his cup. He drank the entire cup of joe and when he opened the lid he discovered a dead rat in the bottom. Well at least he didn’t spill any on his crotch.

well maybe not a cup of joe?
so one thing we know now about , popeye, kfc and mc donalds is that they all serve rat.
thats nice to know.

well these are just some particulair moments when it happend.
they dont feed this to us every day.
most products are good.
or arent they?

well we all know fast food isnt good for you my fellow steemians.
last but not least i wanna let you know what fastfood does to you and youre body.
take a second and read this please.

The Effects of Fast Food on the Body.

Swinging through the drive-thru or hopping into your favorite fast-food restaurant tends to happen more often than some would like to admit. According to the Food Institute’s analysis of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, millennials alone spend 44 percent of their budget’s food dollars on eating out.
In comparison to 40 years ago, the average American family now spends half their food budget on restaurant food. In 1977, just under 38 percent of family food budgets were spent eating outside the home.
While an occasional night of fast food won’t hurt, a habit of eating out could be doing a number on your health. Read on to learn the effects of fast food on your body.

Digestive and cardiovascular systemsMost fast food, including drinks and sides, are loaded with carbohydrates with little to no fiber. When your digestive system breaks down these foods, the carbs are released as glucose (sugar) into your bloodstream. As a result, your blood sugar increases. Your pancreas responds to the surge in glucose by releasing insulin. Insulin transports sugar throughout your body to cells that need it for energy. As your body uses or stores the sugar, your blood sugar returns to normal. How many carbs should you eat in a day? »This blood sugar process is highly regulated by your body, and as long as you’re healthy, your organs can properly handle these sugar spikes. But frequently eating high amounts of carbs can lead to repeated spikes in your blood sugar. Overtime, these insulin spikes may cause your body’s normal insulin response to falter. This increases your risk for weight gain, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes.
Sugar and fatMany fast-food meals have added sugar. Not only does that mean extra calories, but also little nutrition. The American Heart Association suggestsonly eating 100 to 150 calories of added sugar per day. That’s about six to nine teaspoons. Many fast-food drinks alone hold well over 12 ounces. A 12-ounce can of soda contains 8 teaspoons of sugar. That equals 130 calories, 39 grams of sugar, and nothing else.Trans fat is manufactured fat created during food processing. It’s commonly found in:

:fried pies

:pastries

:pizza dough

:crackers

:cookies

No amount of trans fat is good or healthy. Eating foods that contain it can increase your LDL (bad) cholesterol, lower HDL (good) cholesterol, and increase your risk for type 2 diabetes and heart disease.Restaurants may also compound the calorie-counting issue. In one study, people eating at restaurants they associated as “healthy” still underestimated the number of calories in their meal by 20 percent.
SodiumThe combination of fat, sugar, and lots of sodium (salt) can make fast food tastier to some people. But diets high in sodium can lead to water retention, which is why you may feel puffy, bloated, or swollen after eating fast food. Salt actually makes you hungry, not thirsty » A diet high in sodium is also dangerous for people with blood pressure conditions. Sodium can elevate blood pressure and put stress on your heart and cardiovascular system.According to one study, about 90 percent of adults underestimate how much sodium is in their fast-food meals. The study surveyed 993 adults and found that their guesses were six times lower than the actual number (1,292 milligrams). This means sodium estimates were off by more than 1,000 mg.Keep in mind that the American Heart Association recommends adults eat no more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium per day. One fast-food meal could have half your day’s worth.
Respiratory systemExcess calories from fast-food meals can cause weight gain. This may lead toward obesity.Obesity increases your risk for respiratory problems, including asthma and shortness of breath. The extra pounds can put pressure on your heart and lungs and symptoms may show up even with little exertion. You may notice difficulty breathing when you’re walking, climbing stairs, or exercising. For children, the risk of respiratory problems is especially clear. One study found that children who eat fast food at least three times a week are more likely to develop asthma.
Central nervous systemFast food may satisfy hunger in the short term, but long-term results are less positive. People who eat fast food and processed pastries are 51 percent more likely to develop depression than people who don’t eat those foods or eat very few of them.
Reproductive systemThe ingredients in junk food and fast food may have an impact on your fertility. One study found that processed food containsphthalates. Phthalates are chemicals that can interrupt how hormones act in your body. Exposure to high levels of these chemicals could lead to reproductive issues, including birth defects.
Integumentary system (skin, hair, nails)The foods you eat may impact your skin’s appearance, but it might not be the foods you suspect. In the past, chocolate and greasy foods like pizza have taken the blame for acne breakouts, but according to the Mayo Clinic, it’s carbohydrates. Carb-rich foods lead to blood sugar spikes, and these sudden jumps in blood sugar levels may trigger acne. Anti-acne diet »Children and adolescents who eat fast food at least three times a week are also more likely to develop eczema, according to one study. Eczema is a skin condition that causes irritated patches of inflamed, itchy skin.
Skeletal system (bones)Carbs and sugar in fast food and processed food can increase acids in your mouth. These acids can break down tooth enamel. As tooth enamel disappears, bacteria can take hold, and cavities may develop.Obesity can also lead to complications with bone density and muscle mass. People who are obese have a greater risk for falling and breaking bones. It’s important to keep exercising to build muscles, which support your bones, and maintain a healthy diet to minimize bone loss.
Effects on societyToday, more than 2 in 3 adults are considered overweight or obese. More than one-third of children ages 6 to 19 are also considered overweight or obese. The growth of fast food in America seems to coincide with the growth of obesity in the United States. The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) reports that the number of fast food restaurants in America has doubled since 1970. The number of obese Americans has also doubled.Despite efforts to raise awareness and make Americans smarter consumers, one study found that the amount of calories, fat, and sodium in fast-food meals remains largely unchanged. As Americans get busier and eat out more frequently, it could have adverse effects for the individual and America’s healthcare system.
