A new week and #newtunes here. We are already deep into summer, which calls for a cold drink in front of you, nice shade, and performers on stage. Maybe I'll manage something similar in the next few days.

Until then, I'll still be browsing through new music releases by well-known and lesser-known artists. Again, there is something for everyone. Different styles and different artists.

## Do Nothing - Glueland
Nottingham quartet Do Nothing is one of the hottest bands in the UK right now. New album Glueland is a driven art-punk delirium, a masterfully interwoven interplay between all present, embodying the band's aurality despite the choppy rhythms, elusive lines, and vocals placed somewhere between the sung and the spoken.

## Yard Act - Dark Days
Coming from Leeds, they drew attention to themselves practically during quarantine - without concerts, with only a few published songs, they aroused the interest of music critics. Despite the minimalist approach, they reflect the versatility of art rock and postpunk.

## Shanique Marie: Government Name
Shanique Marie has been working in Kingston, Jamaica, for over a decade. Here she presents a track from her debut album Gigi's House. Shanique's relaxed approach contributes to the freshness of Jamaican music, with a mix of dancehall, soul, R&B, and experimental production.

## Turisti - Radostan dan
The Tourists are a newer band from Rijeka, Croatia. This song is a cover of the old Yugoslavian hit Kakav Radostan Dan (Engl. A joyful day) by the Belgrade band EKV (Ekaterina Velika). It's a great cover, and it makes me quite nostalgic for the old days.

## Siderean - Abyssophora
Slovenian band Siderean with their debut album Lost on Void's Horizon, attracted the attention of the foreign public dealing with this genre. They say that the album is a real treat for all space death metal maniacs. Fans of this genre, give it a listen!

## Roza - Novi Noj
Roza, the trio from Belgrade, Serbia, is crossing the fields of Afrobeat, jazz, post-punk, shoegaze, krautrock, bossa nova, and synth-pop. Fields that have been listened to many times. Driven by what they have heard and seen, they have created a post-apocalyptic vision of their own. Maybe I will see them live in the autumn.

## Matthew Dear - All Her Fits
This sounds like a county style, but beware! Matthew is actually an electronic music producer who released his old album after a twenty-year career in the club scene. There's a certain freshness and originality to the music. Maybe it reminds me a bit of Brian Eno's production, I read that Matthew also has a lot of respect for him. Definitely recommended.

## King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Blue Morpho
Blue Morpho is from the album "Butterfly 3000", which is the second studio release this year. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard previously released "L.W." in February. This is another track that brings them back to the familiar dreamy microtonal psychedelic rhythms from their earlier albums. As a fan of this band, I, of course, recommend it.
