Senstless Travel Tip #2 - I have the Power
### Having the Power

As my travel season for work continues, one of the most important parts about spending time in airports today is power. Face it, no matter how new your phone is, as you use it non stop from the time you get up to get a ride, scan your boarding pass, and surf Steemit while you wait for your flight - you will drain your battery.

Not all planes will give you the ability plug in and recharge - and you may find yourself with little to no battery after a full day of travel. You could be one of the unfortunates - you know how I am talking about. Sitting on the floor, in the middle of the concourse with their phone charging. Or you might have to circle the recharging stations like a hawk waiting for an opening. I got tired of this pretty quick and decided to bring my own power. I can recharge while I wait, while I fly, while I get a ride to the hotel.

Bringing your own power bank is essential!

### Size Matters
My personal choice is a 22,400 mAh power bank I got off amazon for $20. I can recharge my phone for days before I need to recharge this bad boy. I have had smaller versions, but I like having a lot of extra power just in case. It has 3 outputs,
* 1A max
* 2A max
* 2.4A max

This allows for faster recharging of devises. For $20, its one of the best investments I have made to make my travel better. I will no longer be caught searchign for an outlet, or not having something do to as I fly across country, or spend all day flying between two regional airports (the worst).

Don't get stuck without power again, and bring a backup along.
