# <center> <div class="phishy"> Witch of Warwick</div> </center>   # <center> <div class="phishy"> English </div> </center> <div class="text-justify"> Hi friends, today I want to share my illustration for the @splinterlands weekly art contest, I was inspired by the Witch of Warwick card and reinterpreted a version in my style and make it a little less scary hehe. I thought of a somewhat neutral expression, but still say a lot with the look, I think I achieved that result. Another point I want to comment on is the new way of presenting the post, I think it's a bit more practical and makes it easier to read, it also gives a new air to my blog.... Well, let's get started! </div> # <center> <div class="phishy"> Español </div> </center> <div class="text-justify"> Hola amigos, hoy quiero compartir mi ilustración para el concurso de arte semanal de @splinterlands, me inspire en la carta de Witch of Warwick y reinterprete una versión a mi estilo y hacerla un poco menos aterradora hehe. Pensé en una expresión algo neutral, pero que aun así diga mucho con la mirada, creo que logre ese resultado. Otro punto que quiero comentar es la nueva forma de presentar el post, creo que es un poco más práctico y facilita la lectura, también le da un nuevo aire a mi blog... Bien, empecemos! </div>  # <center> <div class="phishy"> Reference </div> </center> As I had mentioned, I chose the WITCH OF WARWICK card as a reference to make my version. This character is very interesting and has a lot of potential for future drawings. >Como les había mencionado, elegí la carta WITCH OF WARWICK como referencia para hacer mi versión. este personaje es muy interesante y tiene mucho potencial para futuros dibujos. # <center> </center> [Lore](https://next.splinterlands.com/card-detail/324/regular/6?tab=lore)  # <center> <div class="phishy"> Process / Proceso </div> </center> I always take my time to make the sketch, from the basic shape to the lineart, after several attempts I got a nice shape and not as scary as the original character, I really liked his face. >Siempre me tomo mi tiempo para hacer el boceto, desde la forma básica hasta el lineart, después de varios intentos conseguí una forma bonita y no tan aterradora como el personaje original, realmente me gusto mucho su rostro.  As we can see in step 6 we add each color in a different layer, this helps us when editing and applying shadows. When we finish applying all the base color we can start shading some light tones to give more depth to certain areas. >Como podemos ver en el paso 6 agregamos cada color en una capa diferente, esto nos ayuda al momento de editar y aplicar sombras. Al terminar de aplicar todo el color base ya podemos empezar a sombrear algunos tonos claros ayudan a darle mas profundidad a ciertas zonas.  Apply special attention to the eye area, some shadows will help to highlight when coloring the rest of the eyes. >Aplique especial atención en la zona de los ojos algunas sombras ayudarán a resaltar al momento de darle color al resto.  We are applying the rest of the shadows and details, some shadows require a darker tone for more depth, the hair layer took more time and detail, I wanted to make reference to the tousled hair and full of some jewels. >Vamos aplicando el resto de sombras y detalles, algunas sombras requieren un tono más oscuro para mayor profundidad, la capa del cabello llevo mas tiempo y detalle, quería hacer referencia al cabello despeinado y lleno de algunas joyas.  One of the final steps is to add some small jewels in her hair, we do this in two extra layers. >Uno de los pasos finales es agregar unas pequeñas joyas en su cabello, esto lo realizamos en dos capas extra.  As a final step we add a background and some lighting on all the layers, with this we achieve a better integration of the character with the background. >Como paso final agregamos un fondo y cierta iluminación sobre todas las capas, con esto logramos una mayor integración del personaje con el fondo.  Well friends, here is the final result, I really liked the face of the character, I would like to do another drawing of her in the future.
