I'm a little guilty of being MIA in the past few months, but you cannot blame me for being worked up yeah ? 😭 Here's my attempt at making up for all the absence in the last few months. Taking you all on a virtual tour of my beloved friends wedding and hoping that you all enjoy reading it ❤️ So here's my new hive post, after what feels like ages! It genuinely feels so good to be back on hive and write something after so long. And honestly it didn't take me a minute to decide my topic, and that being my friends wedding that I attended last month! Woahhh! That was one hell of a wedding! I'm super excited to be finally writing this and giving you all a virtual tour of this crazyy wedding. So here it goes. This is the wedding story of Ramya Pai and Abhishek Bhat, the crazyy couple you'll meet in a while. Their wedding was scheduled from Feb 17 to Feb 19, 2022, basically <strong>A Big Fat Indian Wedding</strong>. This is my first time attending a Konkani wedding. Could I be any more excited ? 😭 Still a hard pill to swallow that it is already a month and a half to this day now (*cries in a corner* 😢) Let me start by telling you their wedding hashtag which has my heart and it goes like #AbhiSabRamyaBharose Amazing right ? 😍 pretty much means that everything is in Ramyas hands now! This wedding was held at Miraya Greens, a resort that lies in the outskirts of Bangalore, Karnataka. It's needless to say that a piece of my heart will forever be at Miraya. Miraya is no longer just a resort to us, but a feeling! This team has professional staff offering the most modern technology and planning solutions, including ceremony planning, wedding location, destination wedding, event coordination, photography, videography services and much more. You can blindly trust their team over your most auspicious day! ❤️ Right from the moment we arrived at this place, till our departure, every single aspect was meticulously taken care of by the team with utmost professionalism. And now to let you know, the man behind this amazing event management company is none other than our groom himself, Mr. Abhishek Bhat along with his business partner Mr. Mohit Sharma. Now you know the creative mind behind this exceptional wedding decor! ✨  Getting back to our story, we were a group of 9 friends attending this wedding from Mangalore. We were addressed as the #MangaloreWaliPublic by one of the brides cousins, and after 27479362 jokes on this, it went on to become a slang term for the entire group!😂🤫 We reached Miraya on 17th morning and we were escorted to a dorm room that was provided for us to freshen up and relax till the other guests arrived. The dorm room was huge enough to accomodate 16-18 people. It had all the facilities right from mini bar to projector screen. We then freshened up, followed by yummy breakfast that was arranged by the team. We went on a leisurely morning stroll around the place sipping on our cup of green tea and absolutely enjoying the morning bliss. Post breakfast, we moved to the dorm room to start practicing for Sangeet, while we were waiting for a group of friends from Bangalore and Mumbai to reach the venue for the final rehearsal. You wouldn't want to know the chaos behind the whole Sangeet dance practice that began from January 🤦 But do we still miss it? Aaaand we finally meet this insane bunch of humans!! From wondering if we'll gel along with this crowd in the beginning, to making unforgettable memories with them and now to missing them, we came a long way. Post lunch, we were all asked to move to the extreme end of the resort to start with our final rehearsal. And the rehearsal went on till 6 in the evening, just an hour before the event began.     Now cut to Sangeet night, the event began with a bashhh that was followed by cocktail party 🎉 The Sangeet set up was top notch glamorous and aesthetically pleasing. Words can do no justice to our euphoric experience that night. Our couple looked drop-dead gorgeous in their Sangeet outfit and the place was filled with such young energetic crowd, needless to say how amazing each of them looked. The cocktail counter was set up so beautifully by the Bowtie team. It was so lovely to see the entire family take part in Sangeet dance and make it all the more merrier. We also had the ever energetic MC who spiced up the evening by adding more energy to the whole event. The impromptu couple's entry was so overwhelming, involving everyone present at the party. The event began with couple's entry to "Sooraj ki baahon mein", which was followed by dance performance by various family members. We then had our couple lead us to a dreamland with their romantic dance which made us all go "AWWWW!! 🥺". On public demand, the couple was asked to dance again! That's how amazing it was 😭 Love really was in the air that night. And now to top it all, was our show stopper performance. Yeah, show stopper!!😏 All the dance practice from one and a half month, finally paid off. It was a KILLER performance, if I may say so myself. We then had our couple sneak in to the after party.
