Would you prefer the male or the female animal of that*** This very question reminded me of my beautiful memories with my lovely cats. I started loving them only after they became a member of my family. They get attached to us easily when you start caressing it. We had 2 cats as pets, at different intervals of time. I feel they are more active as kids rather than getting old. And ofcourse, they adapt to our environment easily. The first cat was active while the second was proactive. Both of them preferred snacks to other foods. Even today I remember, no matter where they are, on hearing the loosening of plastic covers filled with snacks, they are here right in front of us for a crunch. I lost my first cat to a ferocious dog. This happened during the midnight in our absence. It was difficult to digest the fact for few days that it was no more with us. *Enjoying its meal* *playing with my son* *got stuck in a tree* *got stuck in a window* *trying to break the oscillation fan wire* In the meantime, I got my second one from a friend of mine. One morning, it came in accidentally to my home. On seeing me it hid behind the refrigerator. It was too little for the huge refrigerator. Usually, cats in our place love fishes rather than anything else. So just to keep it coming, I gave some fresh little prawns. May be it was hungry, it cleared the whole plate and ran away. I waited the whole day, but it did not turn up. Next day, at the same time; I saw this little mischeivous cat coming out from a bush and this time headed straight towards me keeping a distance. I still remember the stare it gave me when I questioned where it ran away the other day. This time I gave it rice mixed with fish curry in a plantain leaf. Once it finish eating, it ran away like a wind. Each day it became a routine for it to visit, to eat and then disappear until the next day morning. Slowly it became close to all members of our family especially my son, who was busy preparing for his final exams. The cat remained seated comfortably on his books and when he slept, this little one was under his bedsheet cover. When nobody around, it showed its energy on me either moving around whereever I went or jumping over the mop while I clean and finally sleeping nearby me. Being a regular visitor made us happy. End of the day, it goes to its owner. Day rolled by, making us laugh over its naughtiness. But one fine morning it didn't turn up and my friend said it was sick. Later after two days it was once again back to track and this time more joyful and playful. This routone continued until one day, it did not visit. We waited for two days, then three and then four..... days rolled by but it didn't turn up. It was so painful, because each day it would turn up with something new which made us laugh. But then we didn't know this was the last. So disheartening... I believe all of should have experienced something good with our pets. No matter its a male or female unless it harms us, its nice to entertain these pets. The photos posted above are of the second cat. Though it stayed only for few years, it has left too many memories to erase. Please note these photos were captured much earlier and were posted in other communities earlier. As the suggested title relates to my pet, I posted them again. Hope you enjoyed reading my article. Thanks for your valuable time and visit.
