Steem API Node Geo Locator. If you have ever written a Steem related bot for example an upvote or resteem bot, then you would have probably
noticed that it is a very good idea to make use fo multiple Steem API nodes in your code. In case there is a connection issue then you can switch to the next API endpoint.
The steem API Node GEO locater is very handy for finding the API nodes closest to you. You can then use this lit of API nodes as the API endpoints for your code, I will post a link in the comments on how
to get the steem python client to use multiple API nodes, if your requests to one node times out for a certain period of time then your code will switch to the next API endpoint. This site can either by used like I demonstrated on the screenshot where the site is accessed with curl. You can also open up this site in a browser if you would prefer that. I strongly suggest that you always use an endpoint over HTTPS for security reasons.
