[Engadget](https://www.engadget.com/amp/2017/09/26/blockchain-smartphone-sirin-finney-solarin/) reports that the company Sirin will produce a smartphone which will use IOTAs fee-less blockchain. The crowdsale will likely start in October and the device will carry the name Finney in hommage to Hal Finney who was involved in bitcoin since the beginning.

Sirin will use its **own operating system** which will be *"specially designed to support blockchain applications such as crypto wallets and secure exchange access".*

It will cost around $1000 and will feature 256GB memory, a 16MP camera and *"a behavioral-based intrusion prevention system, physical security switch and blockchain-based tamper proof feature".*
