ProGit 2nd Edition - Filipino Translation - Localization #2
<blockquote>Pro Git (Second Edition) is your fully-updated guide to Git and its usage in the modern world. Git has come a long way since it was first developed by Linus Torvalds for Linux kernel development. It has taken the open source world by storm since its inception in 2005, and this book teaches you how to use it like a pro.

#### Project Details
This project is a book that gives an overview of the whole process of using Git, from a setting up a repository up to performing complicated commands like pull requests, merging, branching and many others. The main goal of localizing this book is to help everyone learn to use Git. I hope that through this project, people can have knowledge and understanding about Git, and that more and more people will appreciate the beauty of Git.

For the merging, there are 2 different repositories involved here.

[Progit2](https://github.com/progit/progit2) is the main repository. But for every locale, we have to create a separate repository using this as source as mentioned on the README and CONTRIBUTING documents. You will then add a link on this main repo to your translations repository. I have added the links, and were already merged to the main repository as shown on the screenshot below. Also, in order for a locale to be added on the main repo, you have to translate at least 1 chapter of the book, otherwise your link will not be added on the main repo.

The second repo [git-scm](https://github.com/git/git-scm.com), contains the source of the site https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2. I also made updates on this repo, in order for my translations to be added on their website. I have been advised that the updating of the website is done once a day, so I excpect to see my translations on this website soon. You can check my PR and merge updates below.

My created [repository](https://github.com/progit2-tl/progit2) is now the official repository for Tagalog translations for ProGit. You can read this from the main repository of progit's [contributing](https://github.com/progit/progit2/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md) document. I have also made the necessary updates and builds so that they can use my repository and my translations on their production website as well. In fact, this was already rolled out at [Git SCM Website](https://git-scm.com/book/tl/v2).
