## Perseverance 
A common theme when I was growing up was perseverance; don’t give up, don’t surrender and don’t back down.

## Losers give up 
A common explanation was that failing was a necessary part of learning how to do things. 
And if you fail it was like falling down while trying to learn you walk.  You just keep getting back up and trying again. You only fail if you quit and refuse to try. 
That would be like falling snd refusing to get up. Thus debuting Toliver the rest of your life crawling on the ground, instead of being persistent and learning how to walk.

## Winners keep trying 
From this discussion I hope it is easy to understand the necessity to keep trying and master the skill you’re trying to learn.  And it is this attitude of persistence that teaches you that you can be successful, and inspired you to be better.

## True Grit
It was a compliment when I was younger to be referred to as someone with true grit. It meant you were tough, persistent, not easily discouraged and motivated to succeed. These are obviously very desirable characteristics, that all employers want in their employees.

## Teachable or self educative. 
Another big positive is that people who fail, invariably lean from their mistakes, and learn strategies for solving problems, which are literally battle hardened. You have shown that you can come back from defeat and learn from my mistakes. 
Plus failure makes you more open to different ideas, so people csnt each you.
