How I Improved a Random Sketch to a Creative Drawing!

Hello Steemians!

I started this drawing as a random sketch, learning to draw on my iPad Air 2, testing different tools. And honestly, I had no intention to create a finished drawing like this one!

Initially, the idea was to improve my line art which is the foundation of any drawing, the smoother the art line looks the better your drawing will be. After I got that right, I just had to color it and then one thing leads to another!

The facial expressions I've given to the character, depict a mixture of emotions, a feeling of wonder and being amazed at something, and this is where the idea of the next elements of my drawing comes from.

I was and will always be amazed about the universe creation, space, the stars, the planets, the galaxies, the superclusters and of course the mysterious black holes... Who knows what still remain hidden out there! Compared to the creation around us, It's just fascinating how small we are!

Back to the drawing ๐Ÿ˜„ For the line art I used the app "Graphic- Illustration and design", then to color it I transferred it to "Adobe Sketch" app.

Here's the GIF showing the coloring process step by step:

That's it for today's drawing. It actually feels great to watch a random sketch turn up to a complete finished drawing with a meaning behind it!

Feel free to share your thoughts with us and till next time with another drawing, I'm which you all a wonderful peaceful day/nighttime!

Peace.
