<br><br> #### Looking out my bedroom window I noted that the purple flowering wisteria vine is overgrown! It is very pretty, but it has grown way further to the front of the trellis. <br> There is no space left for a sitting area, as it is overwhelmed by the vines of the wisteria. ##### <center>Do you see what I mean 👇?</center> <br><br> ##### <center>And the fountain needs cleaning and fresh paint.</center> It looks like it is plugged due to the debri that has been sitting in the bottom of the second basin. <br><br> #### <center>This is THE tree!</center> Such beautiful memories this tree brings of the lovely days of summer when we would come here. <br><br> **<center>"But moments remain vivid within our mind's eye</center><center>Glimpses of past days make us ponder why.</center><center>Laugh, be silly, don't waste your time with a sigh,</center><center>Memories are a reminder not to let life pass you by." <sup>1</sup></center>** <br><br> **<center>"I’ve learned that kindness lights the way,</center><center>That patience brings a brighter day.</center> <center>That even storms will pass with grace,</center> <center>And time can heal what we embrace." <sup>2</sup></center>** <br><br> #### Poor, poor oak tree! The tree is hollowed out to the ground and continues up. It is split into three! Is there something that can be done? <br><br> #### But for now, it will do what it can to cope. A tree crutch will temporarily help (if it does at all) until the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arborist">arborist</a> can think of some other way to help the oak tree. It looks healthy otherwise! <br><br> #### It will probably take years... The tree is the only living memory of my family and it pains me to realize that the tree may not be here forever!
