Some days the blues of the brilliant Carribean Sea just beg to be captured on a camera or phone that I have within my reach.

The blues of the sea seem bluer and more eye-catching at times. 

Living surrounded by the Ocean is not something I take for granted, after all I did grow up in the midwestern "boring" plains of the US and saw the ocean for the first time 4 years ago.

I snapped these pictures as we were passing by the Fredriksted Fort on the west end of the Island. I didn't get to spend more time or take more picture but will take time the next time we take a drive there.
