Steemit Name Challenge. #0493
--@simon62 was easy as. I have many usernames and nick-names, and the week I had applied to join steemit.com I had been filling in a lot of forms. I had a shufti at the names used by other steemians, and having a new friend in my life, calling me by a name my mother used I just added the combination 62. I have 62 years, but 26 is a major # in my numerology, as are the numerals 6, 2 and 8.
--Should I open another account needing a username, it would probably be from my list of used, so an old email name, such as yowiesalibi.
Yowiesalibi is a name that is more a designation than a call. The elder who now is respected, was respected wholly on a different level when we were younger. Sergeant 'Yowie' taught me sniper skills before ever I joined the RAR. And over the years of our partnership, I was yowieseyes, yowiesears and most importantly yowiesalibi. I began as Pommy Tom, and became the Pilot, because I can make a Falcon (Ford) fly faster than a V8. In the tribe, the elders name me Drowned Man Walking, but that's too long, so when I was asked what my Mother called me, and said Simon, back in that day, they said then, what's your middle name, which they shortened to Tom. Most of my women have called me Tom in public and Simon when annoyed, as if they have a women's knowledge thing, calling out all your names distinctly to pull you up. The most common name among workers is usually, Oi You, but among military both English and Australian it was by my surname. ![IMG_20180408_093506-01.jpeg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXrPQcya2FwHKoS5P2woGkWDfQGm6hj5m3J3yCdJTs8jK/IMG_20180408_093506-01.jpeg)
--If all that sounds confusing, slow and think. I know exactly who a person is and where they are approaching me from by which name they call me. In many situations in my life persons have undone their purpose in introducing themselves to me by using an incorrect designation. If an official uses my first name, what does he want¿ my surname, he's an official. My middle name shortened to Nick-name, who has he that name off, and why is he attempting friendship¿ By which name a stranger calls me, tells me from where he got the name. It might tell me straight away whether he is to be listened to or dismissed, or taken with a pinch of salt. Put straight in a polite manner, I also find out which of my acquaintance has been speaking out of turn, which can help in discerning friendly folk or gossips.
