<div class="text-justify"> Hello everyone, today I want to write and talk to you about anger and sadness, how they are related and how it is the best way to manage these emotions. I hope you like it. To begin I will tell you, there is a story that I heard a long time ago, which said that anger and sadness went to bathe together, and before getting into the water they left their clothes on the shore. When they came out of the bath, sadness put on the clothes of anger and anger put on the clothes of sadness. Haven't you felt that sometimes the emotion of anger ends up turning into sadness? And many times when we are sad, it is because deep down we are angry. <center>[Unplash](https://unsplash.com/es/fotos/nwWUBsW6ud4)</center> Perhaps both emotions are extremes of the same thing. It is important that we learn to listen to ourselves, to see how we feel, instead of ignoring emotions out of fear. The emotion of anger, for example, tells us that something is happening that has violated us in some way. It may be the case of outrage. When you feel outraged, it is a sign that you have been disrespected, or have been mistreated in some way. Many people do not perceive or do not give importance to the feeling of anger, and try to hide it, they believe that the problem is themselves, or this they have been taught. Other people react strongly by defending themselves. Both reactions may be inappropriate. In the face of anger, the best thing is to take space and give place to meditate on what is happening. Anger is a source of energy that helps us take action. Of course, these should always try to be constructive, and not let anger only be a channel to manifest destructive actions. What matters in this case is what we decide to do with this emotion. <center>[Unplash](https://unsplash.com/es/fotos/VBe9zj-JHBs)</center> Anger can be an excellent opportunity to think and take appropriate action. The emotion of sadness is usually closely linked to anger and is also sometimes confused, but it usually appears when anger has subsided and the emotion of slight and discouragement remains in the face of some situation or event that has occurred. Sadness manifests as a lack of energy and motivation. Contrary to anger, sadness tends to paralyze, hinders thoughts, and drives us to inactivity. Usually when we are sad we feel tired, without wanting to do anything. Sadness is often a mechanism of our body that encourages us to stop and reflect. Take space and time for reflection. What can we do in the face of sadness? The best thing we can do is give ourselves the space to rest so that our energies replenish. <center>[Unplash](https://unsplash.com/es/fotos/WENTRcpFYM8)</center> It is not healthy to avoid or repress emotions, the best we can do is let them be and let them fulfill their purposes. As for anger, the purpose is that it leads us to take actions, it is up to us that these actions are constructive and that they help us grow as people. Regarding sadness, the purpose is that we take some time to pause for reflection. I believe that both emotions have a purpose that can be positive. Learning to manage our emotions is important, to know how to react when they arise. Thanks for reading my post. </div>
