 In my last cfs update post I had sun sensitivity from the medication. Thankfully it has cleared up now and I can once again join the living in outside excursions. I did ask the doctor about possibly not going on that one again but she said unfortunately it's one of the main antibiotics and I will have to take it again. Knowing what to expect now will make it easier to plan for vampire week in the future. I got the first round of blood test results back. Bilharzia is still active, my lung infection is still there and my liver is upset at life in general. We're waiting for the other tests still. Since finishing the meds I have been feeling quite toxic and that means joint pain, muscle pain and being very aware of all your organs. On the plus side, having flu-like symptoms means something is happening. Weakness leaving the body and all that. Although painful, it is positive and confirmation that we're on the right track. I had a very painful day a while ago. I 'll be honest and say it really scared me. Laying on the floor rolled up in a blanket looking for somewhere comfortable to lay down that's not pushing on organs. Now there's nothing wrong with either my couch or bed. Sometimes you just need to lay on the floor a bit and rock back and forth. I eventually had a shower and a cry while Lynton stood by to make sure I didn't fall and made it to bed okay. He's been an amazing support, bringing me things, making dinner and helping with keeping the house going. Flash, however, has no regard for sore muscles or joints and just loves that I'm laying down so much and he can climb me like a mountain goat because that's what moms are for of course. He's loved having Lynton at home because he gets an unending supply of butt-patts from the daddy one. In his over zealousness to jump on Lynton's lap the other night he ended up launching himself straight into a plate of chicken and rice. It was hilarious! Since then we're teaching him not to jump on the couch until our plates are put away. He seems to be getting it.  His happy place Teddy just loves me for my blankets and head scratches :) life would be boring without them 😊  The next round of antibiotics start on the 21 st.
