### SteemFest² ended last week - and it was an incredible experience. 
After 2 conference days, countless presentations, chats, laughs and new friends, the whole event came to an end. Steemians from all over the world have come together to connect in real life - and once again, SteemFest has shown how unique the Steemit Community is. 
So many interesting people who are all so different, but also similar in certain ways. 

#### Last sunday, SteemFest then ended with the official ***'Closing Dinner.'***
The location was simply *incredible*.
@roelandp, you have really done the most amazing job with organizing the whole SteemFest - but especially the venues you chose were amazing. 
I really got to see some wonderful spots around Lisbon, and the scenery and atmosphere of all these beautiful locations made the event even better.
#### <center>The closing dinner was held at ***Estufa Fria***, a greenhouse with 3 gardens located inside a large park.</center>

Unfortunately it was already dark when we arrived, but these images will give you an idea of how it would look like during the day. 
Simply beautiful!
#### The area is 1.5 hectares large, and is home to tropical plants, cacti, and even aloe.
Except from plants there are also countless ponds, wells and statues.

When you continue walking through the greenhouse, you get to the park cafe which is open to the public and usually just offers snacks.
The room is decorated with plants everywhere, even on the ceiling - and the atmosphere is simply amazing.

#### For the closing dinner, the whole room was rearranged with 3 very long dining tables.
The setup just looked amazing - 3 long tables with hundreds of seats for Steemians from all over the world! 
The tableware was also beautiful, it just looked so stunning with all the different glasses and plates.
#### It was the perfect setting for a closing dinner of an event as amazing as SteemFest!

### So then we had a Gourmet closing dinner and spent the rest of the night chatting and dancing. 
Instead of applause, @roelandp also introduced the catchphrase *"Steem, Steem, Steem, Steem, STEEM!"*, which quickly became an insider among Steemians!
But of course, the closing dinner was also bittersweet - because it meant saying goodbye to a lot of people. 
#### All in all it was a fun evening full of laughter and connecting with new friends, and a great ending to SteemFest² !

### So SteemFest² is officially over - and it was an incredible experience. 

@roelandp, @firepower, and all the other organizers and helpers: you did the most amazing job, thank you for preparing everything so well and making the experience so easy and enjoyable. 
@ned and the whole steemit team, thank you for making this possible and bringing Steemians from all over the world together! 

#### And thank you to everyone who has stopped by to chat to us, everyone I've had so many interesting discussions and chats with!
