## It was a lovely day which promised some nice sun!
We hopped into the car to go to the beach and go out for some kayaking. Only, when we arrived we found the kayak dude cutting into some nets.

Turns out, he found a net at the beach, filled with at least a hundred dying crabs and he was cutting them out in an attempt to save them.

Most of them were too tired to even fight us - I'd figured they'd be scared by our thick, fat sausage fingers holding them - but they were probably already exhausted by fighting the net.

The easiest and least disgusting part was to cut them out, which was a perfect job for a little sissy like me. The tough, fearless guys were up for the untangling part. The net is super thin and the crabs got all these nice legs and other *horned* things sticking out of their bodies, which didn't really help.

We collected the freed ones in a bucket where they'd just have to wait until we're done.

It took us a bunch of hours before we got the crabs out. Some were even feisty and squiggling all over the place! I am happy to say that we got the majority of the crabs out alive. *How do I mean the majority?* Unfortunately, not all the crabs made it.
