I haven't been able to go out get spectacular shots lately so here is a #mundanemonday post or normal photos I snagged today.  Baby kept us up quite a while so I was happy to sleep on the train during my commute into the city. This early in the morning there are much less people in the station.  Here's a buildin where I go to get a breakfast burrito. This building takes up a whole city block and is basically four separate buildings combined into one via bridges.  The middle area where the buildings meet is a hollow tall lobby with an interesting light sculpture. I've always tried getting better photos of the sculpture but building security doesn't want you taking photos so you have to snipe them quickly before they see you.  Now at the restaurant I'm waiting for my breakfast burrito. I'm not sure whats up with these plants. Very mundane indeed and probably plastic too.  Most the buildings in Chicago have cracked floors like this everywhere except the main lobbies. I think they call it industrial loft style where they leave the rafters expised and grind down the original concrete floor into something smooth.  Now on my lunch break the weather has turned super foggy. Fortunately its not snow or rain.  Now on my way out of the office it is extra dark and gloomy. Just a light mist of rain is covering everything.  Now back home the fog makes normal things look abandoned and gloomy like this crooked stop sign. I wonder if a teenage driver might have bumped it into that position...  Its only 6pm but it looks like midnight at this time during the winter. Time to finally make it to my monolithic condo and try and get more sleep before the baby wakes up during the witching hour lol. That's all for now happy #mundanemonday
