Its a hella cold #wednesdaywalk to get a haircut.  As part of a way to get acclamaited to the cold I decided to walk a couple miles to get a haircut.  It had snowed the past few days and now the insulation from gray clouds is gone and everything got subzero.  The snow may look soft but it is really kind of thick and solid ice.  The local park has a nice hill for sledding.  One side of the hill was designated for climbing up.  The other side is for sliding. It got really smooth and solid. I bet the kids slid down at record speeds on such smooth ice.  As usual someone made a huge boulder of ice and rolled it down the hill. Now this thing is rock solid.  Finally made it to the barbershop. Someone had a service poodle to get there. I sure hope it wasn't there to get a haircut and they better clean the clippers afterwards...  On my way back home I found a frozen solid robin. Poor guy stuck around too long and temperatures dropped quickly. Perhaps I could have saved it if I found it a day earlier.
