John McAfee uses his Twitter account and would post FUD from time to time.. Despite being a public figure he talks like a slumdog.. I guess its because he lost a great deal of his wealth during the 2008 financial crisis that made him like this.. He is one of those early programmers to achieve commercial success but despite all the fame he receive he ended up a drunkard..

A lot of people still respects him for his early work but all the projects he did after selling his shares of McAfee Associates.. and after losing all his investments he finally started Bitcoin mining.. And now he is a Bitcoin guru.. but wait.. mining doesn't really need any special talent except to invest in hardware.. Despite being a programmer I have never heard of McAfee developing anything on the blockchain.. 

He told the media so many lies about iPhone and also Google just to get some free publicity but all his claims turned out as bluff.. 

And now he is also doing the same in crypto space.. there is law to prevent drunk and drive.. There should also be law to prevent drunk and tweet. If you check his Twitter account you will see he promotes alcohol more than crypto.

But because of his almost 800,000 Twitter followers and some of them who believes his words without questioning the truth behind his statement.. He can manipulate the cryptocurrency space and specially the price of coins.. If he Tweets positive about any shitcoin his blind followers would buy a lot of that coin and making the price go higher and similarly if he Tweets about a good coin and calls it shitcoin then the price will really fall...

He is a senior person and yet behaves like a spoiled teenage brat. Probably the mental shock from his $100 million magically turn to $4 million.. 

If an exchange gets hacked it's a major loss for the whole industry but if McAfee makes aby FUD type tweets it's double the loss for the whole industry.. 

His Tweeter account is his biggest leverage but he just ain't utilizing his greatest strengths properly..
