How Does It Work?
https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/fc_pics/fuel_cell_still.gif I know the image might look confusing but it is much more simple than it seems. Basically you take electrical energy from an outside source like a battery, or solar panel. Most people use a car battery with their homemade fuel cells but I think the possibilities with a solar panel are much more interesting Basically you run the electricity from the outside source through metal that is submerged underwater.... **AND THAT'S IT!** The electrical current running through the metal that is under water will force the hydrogen and oxygen atoms to split about, it will no long be but instead it will separate and the hydrogen turns into a flammable gas! What you decide to do with the gas is up to you but the possibilities are endless. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqjn3mup1So
Why haven't I seen this technology before?
Because gas, oil, electric and any other energy company just wants you to be dependent on them! Think about the possibilities... you could use a solar panel to run the current through the metal and use the gas to have a flame to boil water on... completely off grid you can sterilize your water... one of the amazing parts is that when the gas burns it actually mixes back with the oxygen in the air and turns back into h2o, drinkable h2o. There is a company in California that is working on a commercial version of this. Although I highly doubt it would be made with materials that would allow it to be affordable to the average consumer. I hope we see a commercialization of sustainable green energy generation like this. I guess we will see what the future brings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWsWDHR-DxY
