It’s been a while since I did a @steembasicincome giveaway, and having just bought some more STEEM today, because it’s cheap (why not?), I thought I would make some of this extra coinage work for me.

I have previously given away SBI’s shares but it’s not been for some time. I do want to get into the next tier of @steembasicincome, so I will add another 8 to my existing 32 shares making 40 which will give me a free one.

Of course to add the shares, I need to nominate EIGHT people who I feel are doing a good job on Steemit and are not abandoning the platform just because the value of STEEM is declining. 

It will go up again, and then we will all get that great feeling instead of the literally sinking one we have right now.

So like my other nominations in the past, if I have already given an SBI out then I won’t give another to the same person. It’s a matter of spreading the votes really.

My selections are not only based on the size of the account, but for people who didn’t ignore me when I was a small fish and inspired me to become dolphin sized. I do remember those people very well and am eternally grateful to them. 

The other type of recipient is the smaller guys who I feel are doing a good job with their content.

It’s not a coincidence that all the new recipients are also people who benefit from the @chops.support account too. I’m very loyal to my friends because, well because that’s just who I am!

If you are not one of the chosen ones please don’t feel too badly about me, I only have eight shares to delegate and I will do another round of these in the future. We are all human and we do tend to bond with some people more than others.

So now I need to go back to my blog and check who the previous recipients where. There have been 16 previous giveaways, so this will bring the total to 24.

@stav – A friend of @steevc’s and someone who I have been visiting since near day one. I was a small fry then, but you were always friendly to me and didn’t judge me by my wallet size.

@shanibeer – I only wished you would have come to Steemfest in Birmingham. It took me a while to get to know you and this would have made things quicker. I admire that fact that you have show faith like me and invested fiat into STEEM to become one of the bigger fishes.

@katharsisdrill – Your outlook on life and unconventional responses to things have always intrigued me. It’s a fact that when I was a small fish you didn’t ignore me; I see so much of this happening on Steemit. Small fish become larger if you feed them and this one was helped by you; thank you.

@modernzorker – There’s not many Magic the Gathering people on Steemit but you are one, and more significantly remember the old days. Someone at least will know what the hell I’m talking about when I do a Magic post!

@natubat – I love your hiking blogs, and so does @bingbabe. You inspired me to risk my neck going up Pen-y-Ghent recently. I hope you stick about and continue with the mountains content, its great.

@steemflagrewards – Flagging is something I have recently been introduced to, and what incentive to be rewarded for down-voting shit content that has been pre-approved. There’s always the risk that the flagee may retaliate if course, it’s a gamble that you need to weigh up before doing this line of ‘work’.

It’s great that @lukestokes has recently sent a big delegation your way. I can see it’s helped a lot with the SP and VP of the account. My lowly delegation is not a lot but I’m trying to help some.

@beautifulbullies – You talked to me at length during the SteemCamp in Birmingham as I was just getting going in March 2018. I’m one for returning favours and the advice and motivation you gave me helped a lot. Sometimes I think I have an elephant’s memory. I don’t forget these things.

@jessicaoutside – Your travel content is up there with the best. I love reading about your exploits up and down the Northern American continent. Keep it up and don’t abandon Steemit. The place would be worse without your content.

A single vote of @steembasicincome is not going to change your lives, but it will remain a vote for life. Every little helps.
