I had to drive for 5 hours getting to Bongjeong-sa temple from Seoul. 5 hours distance is not a short in Korea. Bur riding a car for 5 hours was so amazing, I could enjoy the mountains and the colors of changing season. As arriving at the temple, I was so pleased to see the trees around the temple. I needed to walk through the trees. It was a tunnel of the trees, especially the pines. The scent of the pines made me feel refreshed.   I walked through the pines slowly to enjoy the feeling of exhilarating. Of course I took some pics of the pines to share with my steemian friends. It was a pity that I could not send you the scent of the pines.   After 10 minutes walking, finally I could see the one pillar gate. The one pillar gate of Bongjeong-sa temple was not splendid but simple and unshophiscated.  Suddenly a question was rising, how this simple architecture could be listed on the UNESCO.
