Victoria was one pound thirteen ounces when she was born in October at 24 weeks. They gave her a 40% chance of survival. She is now in the 76% of the normal range (not the premie range). She is off the Oxygen for several hours now, so her lungs are stronger. Originally she was tiny: With four siblings, she was welcomed home as the best toy ever: Her Sister closest to her was one pound ten ounces and was also a preemie. They are growing up right, the other Sister was on a swingset today. She had her favorite chicken in her lap; swinging with her, and singing to her. Oxygen is still a necessary evil, but at first, 5 minutes off the Oxygen was too long. But she is playing, so life is good! She is hard to photograph, because she is always moving She is in the middle of everything, as a baby should be; and is happy and noisy! Lots of people have been praying for this sweet little kid. I thank you all, she is living proof of the power of prayer! She has taken to waving at people she "approves" of, it is pretty cute!
