Hi Everybody!

I'm completely new to this, so let me start out by introducing myself. My name is Sarah and I'm 28 years old. I live in New York with my cat, bird, lizard and frogs. I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist and also drive for Lyft in my free time. I love getting to know people and hearing their stories, especially 2am drunk ones. I have lots of different interests including music, photography, movies, animals, travel and cooking. I've never blogged..ever. So suggestions, critiques... or whatever..are totally welcome.

I've always loved to sing, although I consider myself somewhat of a shower singer. I also play the guitar, flute, piano and am in the process of learning the alto sax. Motown and soul are my jams. Gimme Sam Cooke over Cardi B everyyyy daaay. Although, I must say, Britney is my guilty pleasure. 

I spend my free time playing around with PhotoShop and taking photos of local wildlife. On occasion, I photoshop my lizard, Taco, into famous movie scenes. When I retire I hope to travel the world, take photographs of wildlife and eat good food. In photography, I'm a total amateur, but I'm learning and enjoying the process.

I'm working on staying balanced, enjoying my interests and leading a happy healthy lifestyle. Not every day is easy, but I'm figuring it out as I go..and I think I'm doing better than fine. :)
