Did you ever have an idea and think it was great? Did you ever put a lot of time into your idea but while working on it think to yourself '*Something is just not right*'? Did you keep working on your idea anyway? Yeah, me too.

There are times in our lives where no matter how much you want something to work out, no matter how many times you do one more *tiny fix*, you just need to let go of your idea and move on.

The Sims 4 is a game that simulates real life. You play Goddess or Angel to your Sims. It's up to you to decide how your Sims will go through life. The other great part of The Sims 4 is the build mode. This is the part of the game I spend hours upon hours playing. 

I have always loved making something out of nothing. I love bright colors. I find nature comforting and relaxing. In The Sims 4, you get to play with all of these things in the games *build mode* without worrying about how much it is going to cost. That makes me extremely happy!

Every once and a while I will start to work on a new house in The Sims and each time I log in I find *things* wrong with the new house I am building. This is the case of a half-finished house I now have in my  Sims 4 game. 

After three days of everything *not quite right* with the newest home I was trying to build, I decided to leave the house I was working on for now. Who knows, in a week I might log back in and it will be **perfect** in my eyes. Life's little mysteries that!

Off to my friend Google I went. I had wanted to build a desert house. I have never lived in the desert, I needed more help in the home design department. While looking through photo's of *luxury desert homes* I noticed there was a common theme. Large outside covered areas for entertaining, along with a pool to cool off in was in every photo I saw.

Now that I had a better idea in my head what I was really going for I went to Sims 4. In a few hours had the shell of the house built. Waking up the next morning I logged into The Sims 4 to see if I still liked the house as much as I did the night before. Thank goodness I did!

To be honest I wasn't too worried I wouldn't like it. When something in your life or a game is **right** it comes effortlessly. It's still can be work but it's not drudgery. The feeling you get in life and creating anything when you are on the right path is a relaxing, exciting and a hopeful way to spend working.

**In the end, building the house, you will see in the video above, reminded me why I love to be creative. It also reminded me to look at my life and reevaluate a few things. A bit like cleaning out my closet. Does this make you happy? Nope? then it is time to move on, make room, for bigger and better things to come.**
