 <div class="text-justify"> <center>English</center> I started this year with my batteries recharged. Last year was incredible, full of changes and at the same time, painful in many ways, so deep down, I needed December to end so I could start a new chapter, full of new opportunities. I felt revitalized and happy since January 1st, and everything was going well, at least until yesterday, when I spent more than 10 hours without electric service, just the last day of vacations, just the day before going back to work😖. Basically, my plans collapsed and my intention to take profit of my last day of vacation remained just that, an intention. I barely got some work done on my phone's low battery, slept through the day and slept through the night, until the power came back on at 2:00 am. In the morning I got ready as quickly as possible, but not before having a large cup of coffee. I decided it would be a great first day of work. The hours flew by between December emails and phone calls. As soon as I left work my body was screaming for COFFEE. But not just any coffee, I had my first sweet craving of the year, coffee slush, with chocolate and whipped cream. A caffeine and sweet bomb to wake up my whole body and tell it that the vacations are officially over. So that's what I did. I went straight to "Tostao", a coffee franchise well known in Colombia for its quality products at low costs. There was only one cold coffee option, called "Tostaccino" and you could choose between 3 flavors, caramel, red fruits and chocolate (I chose the latter). They only had the Giant size (the largest), for only 2 dollars, so that's the one I ordered.  I waited for my coffee and when they handed it to me I was a little worried that it was too big and I didn't like it, so I immediately took a sip and oh, surprise! It was very good, nothing to envy to Starbucks or Juan Valdez. I loved the Quote printed on the plastic cups where they deliver the drink *no hurry no pause* (Sin prisa Sin pausa in Spanish) The perfect combination of words to start my work day and aim for balance in that area of my life, without running, without stagnating, moving at a good pace *"no hurry no pause"*  I went upstairs with my coffee to the second floor and there I entertained myself for a while drinking it, looking at the phone and also at the view in front of me. My favorite part of this iced coffee was of course, the coffee, and the whipped cream which was particularly delicious.    Without realizing it, my "giant Tostaccino" was finished, which after all did not seem as big as at first, and I left there happy to resume my routine, my work and the possibility of having coffee dates in that area of the city where I live that is so beautiful. Sometimes all it takes is a giant coffee, an inspirational quote and some sweetness to make everything better in the day. 😃 So tell me: Do you like your coffee cold and sweet in the afternoons? El año pasado fue increíble, lleno de cambios y al mismo tiempo, doloroso en muchos sentidos, así que en el fondo, yo necesitaba que diciembre terminara para empezar así un nuevo capítulo, lleno de nuevas oportunidades. Me sentí revitalizada y feliz desde el primero de enero, y todo marchaba bien, al menos hasta el día de ayer, cuando pasé más de 10 horas sin servicio eléctrico, justamente el último día de vacaciones, justamente el día antes de regresar a mi trabajo😖 Básicamente, mis planes se derrumbaron y mi intención de aprovechar mi último día de vacaciones quedó solo en eso, una intención. A duras penas hice algo de trabajo con la poca batería de mi teléfono, dormí durante todo el día y en la noche me desvelé, hasta que regresó el servicio eléctrico a las 2:00 de la madrugada. En la mañana me alisté lo más rápido posible, no sin antes tomarme una taza grande de café. Decidí que sería un gran primer día de trabajo. Las horas se me pasaron volando entre correos de diciembre y llamadas. A penas salí del trabajo mi cuerpo pedía a gritos CAFÉ. Pero no me provocaba cualquier café, me provocó primer antojo dulce del año, granizado de café, con chocolate y crema chantilly. Una bomba de cafeína y dulce para despertar todo mi organismo y decirle que oficialmente se acabaron las vacaciones. Así que eso hice. Fui directo a "Tostao", una franquicia de café bastante reconocida en Colombia por sus productos de calidad a bajos costos. Solo había una opción de café frío, llamada "Tostaccino" y podía escoger entre 3 sabores, caramelo, frutos rojos y chocolate (yo elegí este último). Tenían únicamente el tamaño Gigante (el más grande), por solo 2 dólares, así que ese pedí.  Esperé por mi café y cuando me lo entregaron me preocupé un poco de que fuera demasiado grande y no me gustara, así que de inmediato le di un sorbo y ¡oh, sorpresa! Estaba muy bueno, nada que envidiarle al Starbucks o al Juan Valdez. Me encantó la frase impresa en los vasos de plástico donde entregan la bebida "Sin prisa Sin Pausa". La combinación de palabras perfecta para empezar mi jornada laboral y apuntar al equilibrio en esa área de mi vida, sin correr, sin estancarme, avanzar a buen ritmo *"sin prisa sin pausa"*  Subí con mi café a la segunda planta y allí me entretuve un rato tomándolo, mirando el teléfono y también la vista que tenía en frente. Mi parte favorita de este café helado fue por supuesto, el café, y la crema chantilly que estaba particularmente deliciosa.    Sin darme cuenta se acabó mi "Tostaccino gigante", que después de todo no me pareció tan grande como en un principio, y me fui de allí feliz de retomar mi rutina, mi trabajo y la posibilidad de tomar cafecitos en esa zona de la ciudad donde vivo que es tan bonita. A veces solo hace falta un café gigante, una frase inspiradora y algo de dulce para que todo mejore en el día. 😃 Cuéntame: ¿Te gusta el café empalagoso por las tardes?
