You must be either a social media guru or willing to give up your character.  I've seen both types succeed and fail in this beautiful utopia of crypto wonderfulness.   Do be cautious, Steemit has done me well with such low rewards  the powerful will not read my posts or who you voted for,  so worry not.  I've seen people so caught up in them self they dare not resteem a thing, even though they have 3k+ followers.  Just look at those types of people,  Those who never resteem, ever, but still get rewards like a pro.  Resteemers are true lovers, the others just enjoy winning rewards at your love for them.

But seriously, I got 2,300+  followers I'm lucky if 30 of them vote for me *(same for many others I follow)*, and they are not the same people who struggled with me to be someone on Steemit.  Most of my regular voters, vote me 1 maybe 2 cents when I vote them 20-50 cents for them, aside from a very select few who do me well.  I have come to consider my posts success not by how much it made but who still votes for me and leave quality comments. (no worries, they wont read this.)

I recently did a 1 week experiment to see what would happen if i promoted my posts.  Well.. it was a huge failure. well, not completely and by no means do i feel it was a huge loss.  I turn small amounts of Steemit into bigger amounts of something else, which is key to my success.  Also don't forget to pay your self.  Steemit does't care, they have bright lights and have the memory retention of a goldfish.  I can prove this.... The idea ***"I can prove it"*** is something Steemit brought the world, accountability.

Does Tim Cliff remember when he first joined?  Does he still support hurting minnows that helped him when he was a minnow? I guess I should have joined a trail, It is something I often wonder.  The many posts I supported BTS, which I still do, did any of the BTS whales support me back? **(not even one but keep on keeping on)**.  Countless folks here fit the description and are now dolphins or maybe even whales.  I failed to change for this place,  I wanted it to be what it set out to be, a place it claims to be but fails to be daily. ** I want to be me!!** I won't change me for a whale vote, like so many others I watched.

Speaking your heart on Steemit has done very few people good.  I, me, myself, have started over many times.  Some only remember the time they rebooted.   Steemit has never been a place for everyone, it still has that ***Ponzi Scheme feel*** to many even though, as someone here since near the beginning, we have experienced it's.  They do not know Steemit is a closed circle game.  **(Top 3 most transacations but incredibly low value compared)**
