Glad I used crafting to make some oxygen canisters. Not worrying about having oxygen all the time is nice. Just need to worry about the elements and predators getting me. I made ten of the oxygen canisters so I should be able to play awhile without needing to make more. The launch fuel is needed as well so I made many of those instead of having to keep certain elements on me to refuel. 

I collect alot of ferrite and use it to make metal plates. From that I can build the canisters I need. The only element I really need to keep on me is condensed carbon. I come across a Monolith, something I seem to need a dagger item to use. Though I still learned some words with the near by knowledge stones. Usually I just seek out minerals but since it was on the way I think it was a good idea to stop by and check it out.

I did gain an item from the interaction and some words so I think it was worth it. I find some crystals to mind and then move on to my next spot to find more minerals. Though I decided to stop by the base real quick and sell off what I got. I talked with some aliens to learn some new words attempted to buy an spacecraft I could not afford. 

I usually do not find large bases like this raised multi landing pad structure. Usually its a small outpost. I need to see if I can create my own home right near it so I have an easy trading post to travel to. Its key not to get overloaded with items and then have no where to sell them.
