The artistic design, which I will call style: Tim Burton, despite the fact that he becomes a bit sinister at night, falls in love with the sight, I feel very comfortable with him, I enjoy him a lot, both on the islands and sailing.   But the mechanics of the game are not very fair, the raft needs repairs all the time, the river is quite difficult. And the workshop, the only place where we can make them, appears very eventually (green circle), while the current of the river (white arrows) drags us – literally – from the opposite side of where the much-needed workshop is. So the current and the obstacles prevent you from reaching it.  We have to avoid the completely white side of the current as much as possible, although there are areas where it will be impossible, there the strength of the river will make it very difficult for us to control the raft. The white lines on the blue surface of the river indicate the current and it is very difficult to get out of control.  The looting areas look nice and very colorful, they are randomly generated and the items you can get are always changing.   There are plenty of recipes and useful traps to build. We managed to expand our inventory, improve our clothing. But you have to be careful, because the materials are very scarce, if you make a trap to defend yourself or hunt, you can run out of material to light a fire and die of cold.  We are freezing to death here.  We will face wild animals that will make our existence miserable in the game, such as the black wolf, the boar, the snakes. We have to be careful with vines and ant nests. If they do not achieve their favorite task of killing us, they will cause us conditions that we must cure or "surprise" they will cause us death.   In the campaign we can find curious npc, like the wild children who give us arrows, or Mrs. Cockrow, who will give us a very useful spear trap to deal with the wild beasts.   The spear trap can be one of the best recipes for the beasts.  If you have the opportunity to enter a repair port, and get the materials, build a rudder, I assure you it helps a lot, you really get to notice the difference. And if they get the materials, the motor for the raft is even better.   The sad thing is that it really is not a survival game for me, and I explain why I think of it like this: Every time the raft breaks it resets at a checkpoint and I only found three in the whole river ( orange stars). It is not a survival game.  There comes a time when I get overwhelmed, by the number of times the river crashes into you, and it kills you that you just want to move forward along the river and reach the end. Since it doesn't matter what you get and how far you go you lose every time, the river is very efficient at destroying the raft and the obstacles in the river for some reason are attracted to the raft and collide with us. Es algo cierto, pero al menos con los juegos podemos hallar un respiro. Deseo que todos estén lo mejor que sea posible en cualquier situación en que esta vida les haya colocado, y les deseo mucho ánimo para salir adelante. He hecho avances en el juego desde la última vez, la música vale mucho la pena, y por fin logré cazar y estar al día con la comida. Ya no muero a cada rato de inanición.   El diseño artístico, que le llamaré estilo: Tim Burton, a pesar de que llega a ser un poco siniestro por las noches, enamora a la vista, me siento muy cómodo con él, lo disfruto mucho, tanto en las islas como navegando.   Pero las mecánicas del juego, no son muy justas, la balsa necesita reparaciones a cada rato, el río es bastante difícil. Y el taller, el único sitio donde podemos hacerlas, aparece muy eventualmente (círculo verde), mientras la corriente del río (flechas blancas) nos arrastra – literalmente - del lado opuesto de donde está el tan necesitado taller. Así que la corriente y los obstáculos te impiden alcanzarlo.  Tenemos que evitar en lo posible el lado totalmente blanco de la corriente, aunque hay zonas en que será imposible, allí la fuerza del río nos hará muy difícil controlar la balsa. Las líneas blancas en la superficie azul del río indican la corriente y es muy difícil salir de su control.  Las zonas de saqueo lucen bonitas y muy coloridas, son generadas de forma aleatoria y los objetos que puedes obtener varían siempre.   Hay un montón de recetas y útiles trampas para construir. Logramos expandir nuestro inventario, mejorar nuestra ropa. Pero hay que tener cuidado, porque los materiales son muy escasos, si haces una trampa para defenderte o cazar, puedes quedarte sin material para encender una fogata y morir por frío.  Morimos de frío aquí.  Nos enfrentaremos a animales salvajes que nos harán miserable nuestra existencia en el juego, como el lobo negro, el jabalí, las serpientes. Tenemos que tener cuidado con las enredaderas y los nidos de hormigas. Si no logran su tarea favorita de matarnos, nos causarán afecciones que debemos curar o “sorpresa” nos causaran la muerte.   En la campaña podemos encontrar npc curiosos, como los niños salvajes que nos regalan flechas, o la Sra. Cockrow, que nos dará una trampa lanza muy útil para lidiar con las fieras salvajes.   La trampa lanza puede ser una de las mejores recetas para las fieras.  Si tienen la oportunidad de entrar a un puerto de reparaciones, y consiguen los materiales, armen un timón, les aseguro ayuda mucho, realmente se llega a notar la diferencia. Y si consiguen los materiales, es mejor aún el motor para la balsa.   Lo triste es que realmente es que, para mí, no es un juego de supervivencia, y les explico por qué lo pienso así: Cada vez que se rompa la balsa se reinicia en un punto de control y solo halle tres en todo el río (estrellas naranja). El punto de inicio, y dos a distancias considerables.  Como en este estilo de juego, al morir pierdes todo, que es lo normal, también cambian las ubicaciones y lo que puedas encontrar en ellas. En la última oportunidad llegué casi al final de mapa en la pantalla, -círculo rojo- sin volver hallar ningún punto de control (flechas rojas para resaltar mejor). No vale la pena repetir el camino y volver a estrellarme, el juego no logra como incentivarme para volver a intentarlo, se hace un poco aburrido.  Es un juego de manejar una balsa por el río, no importa que hayas farmeado recursos, no importa que hayas mejorado el equipo, no importa que hayas cazado o dormido suficiente. Al estrellar la balsa – que es lo único que importa-, es muerte y reinicio en un punto bastante lejano. El juego es, solo eso en realidad, de manejar una balsa por el río con elementos de supervivencia. No es un juego de supervivencia.  Llega el momento en que me abrumo, por la cantidad de veces que el río te estrella, y te mata que solo quieres avanzar por el río y llegar al final. Ya que no importa lo que obtengas y lo que avances que se pierde a cada rato, el río es muy eficiente para destruir la balsa y los obstáculos del río por algún motivo son atraídos hacia la balsa y chocan contra nosotros. Bueno, de seguro espero que habrá alguien a quien si le guste y lo disfrute mucho. Es una pena que yo no llegue a sentir deseos de insistir más en él.
