It was another good week at @ocd, with 5 posts I was able to curate. This time I was especially mesmerized by an amazing travel post from @alexeyvoron who flew over big parts of Russia - a country no-one will ever be able to see enough of, it's so big, so I appreciate every picture I can get from that gorgeous country. The other highlight of my week was the post about @maryjaney from the @steemsistershow written by @steemmatt - such an amazing Steemian with great content and... *he wasn't curated by OCD before!* You'll not regret reading his posts about his meetings with great Steemians the past week, they are true gems.

Now, check out those and other posts below, and consider following @ocd for a daily dose of overlooked posts by often lesser-known Steemians! OCD's mission is to curate those who haven't been curated by us before and have a low payout at time of curation. Definitely worth checking out and supporting!

This post takes us on a mesmerizing flight from Magadan to Moscow, a 7,5 hours long flight across 8 timezones in Russia. @alexeyvoron describes several rivers, lakes and mountain areas in detail and treats us with a lot of high quality shots taken from the air. I've personally only been to Russia once, and I know I haven't seen most of it, but this post definitely makes me want to go back and explore more of the remote places this country has to offer.

Is it spring in your part of the world? It is in India! User @devkant79 is capturing the signs of spring while driving his car through a part of North India. He kept his eyes open and captured some if the nature and flowers he encountered. Here "people still live in the proximity of nature and their lives are not affected by the pollution of cities" - and from the looks of it they're lucky to live there. Great post of a part of the world I've not yet been able to visit myself!

Meeting Steemians can have life-changing effects... Here @steemmatt writes an amazing story about his connection with one of the 'Steem Sisters' @maryjaney. How they connected, talked, tried to learn bits and pieces about each other. So much so that Matt makes a promise on the blockchain that takes him out if his own comfortzone... A very worthy and touching read with amazing pictures of the lovely Mary and a few vintage barbies!

Who hasn't heard about the magnificent Joshua Tree National Park? It's certainly on my bucket list! This post describes part of the road towards the park - what I like most about the post is that there's already so many pictures of the Joshua Trees before they @wanderingagorist arrived at the park. Also: scroll through the post a bit, there's one shot of a Joshua Tree that is so incredibly tall - must have been a challenge to take a picture of it whole!

Korean is a much-spoken and written language on Steem, but what do we really know about it? Steemian @irisworld took some classes and spoke English-Korean in combination with hand gestures - and learned more and more about the language. Did you know that until the 15th Century Korea used Chinese Characters? Read more in Part II of @irisworld's story about this fascinating language.
