<p><div class="text-justify">They have two large compound eyes and three small simple eyes between them, many eyes to see, they have excellent vision and that is compensation from nature for having only one ear that is located in their thorax. </div></p>

<p><div class="text-justify">They are solitary animals except in the breeding season when males and females look for each other to mate. A female can lay up to 400 eggs in each clutch, and they usually hatch in spring, although only a few survive due to cannibalism among them.</div></p>
<p><div class="text-justify">The female takes things to an extreme in the sexual arena, eating her partner during or after intercourse with a life expectancy of about a year. </div></p>
<p><div class="text-justify">To conclude I comment that there is Chinese martial art, Kung Fu inspired by this animal is a style of self-defense. </div></p>
