The abrupt change of temperature in a short time made me feel bad, first because of the curves of the mountains we descended and then because of the desert that awaited us, some fellow travelers felt bad, others did not mention anything, to me these sudden changes in temperature make me sick and it is not the first time it happens to me, but after an hour or two my body adapts to the weather conditions and I can enjoy the journey. Nature is beautiful and amazing, in such a short time of terrestrial transfer I go from observing green hills with a fresh and cold air to being in the middle of an arid, dry and hot desert. </div></p> <div class="text-justify"><div class=pull-right> <h1><center>Cárcavas de Quíbor</center></h1> Estando en <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@soyunasantacruz/riding-in-the-cubiro-hills-cabalgando-por-las-lomas-de-cubiro">las Lomas de Cubiro</a> en el estado Lara Venezuela, a una temperatura de unos 8 grados centígrados, bastante baja, para lo que estoy acostumbrada y con mucho frío, descendimos unas dos horas hasta llegar a las Cárcavas de Quíbor, en el mismo estado pero a una temperatura elevada de unos 32 grados. El cambio tan brusco de temperatura en poco tiempo me hizo sentir mal, primero por las curvas de las montañas que descendimos y luego por el desierto que nos esperaba, algunos compañeros de viaje se sintieron mal, otros no mencionaron nada, a mí me descomponen estos cambios bruscos de temperatura y no es la primera vez que me pasa, pero después de una o dos horas mi cuerpo se adapta a las condiciones climáticas y puedo disfrutar de la travesía. La naturaleza es hermosa y asombrosa, en tan poco tiempo de traslado terrestre pase de observar unas lomas verdes con un aire fresco y frío a estar en medio de un desierto árido, seco y caliente. </div></p> * * * <center></center> ||| |-|-| ||| </div></p> <div class="text-justify"> The ravines are large towers of clay and mud that are formed by rain and water creating semi-hard formations, with a desert-like appearance, its vegetation is different from those I normally see in the city, a place that lends itself to lose orientation. There are many ravines in the world and in Venezuela the most famous are those of Lara state, but it is not a route that is exploited commercially, recently some tourism companies are incorporating it, since Venezuelans are in search of adventure tourism. > Las Cárcavas son grandes torres de arcilla y barro que se forman por las lluvias y el agua creando formaciones semi duras, con un aspecto desértico, su vegetación es distinta a las que normalmente veo en la ciudad, un lugar que se presta para perder la orientación. Existen muchas Cárcavas en el mundo y en Venezuela las más famosas son las del estado Lara, pero no es una ruta que se explote de forma comercial, recientemente algunas empresas de turismo la están incorporando, ya que los venezolanos andan en búsqueda de turismo con aventura.</div> <center></center><center> </center> ||| |-|-| ||| <center><sub><b>My favorite model - Mi modelo favorito</b></sub></center> To get to them is easy, they are located on the banks of Rotaria Avenue in front of the handicraft center La Tinaja de Quíbor, anyone can enter, but it is a point that goes unnoticed, to enter you must ask for a permit to the police that guards this area, their recommendation is to keep the group together to avoid getting lost, because it is very easy because once inside everything looks the same. You have to walk carefully because its appearance is deceptive, it seems to be on hard ground, but in reality it crumbles easily, the sun is inclement and the view is impressive. > Llegar a ellas es fácil están ubicadas a orillas de la avenida Rotaria frente al centro artesanal La Tinaja de Quíbor, cualquier persona pueden entrar, pero es un punto que pasa inadvertido, para entrar se debe pedir un permiso a la policía que resguarda esta zona su recomendación es mantener el grupo unido para no perderse, ya que es muy fácil porque una vez adentro todo se ve igual.
