People are the problem not guns, also media are the problem, not guns... Look how they treat islamic terrorist attacks, they don't show anything they try to not talk about it to not give them publicity, i think that mentally ill people should not get that propaganda from the media. The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, maybe is time to put armed security at schools, get teachers to have a gun on their desks and see how quickly mass shootings ends, the mass shooters are always cowards they wont go for a fight they just want to kill... If you illegalize gins you illegalize them for good people, bad guys doesn't care they would get the guns anyway... More guns is a tiny part of the things to stop mass shootings... Anyway you cant take guns away from people that means taking their freedom, if you don't have the ability to defend yourself you are not free. And yes, freedom is an important thing, if you want to be safe and sacrifice your freedom go to jail, ask them to put you in solitary confinement and you can die old there, SAFE.
