Teaching is a noble profession such that it's impact in our lives, families, governments and worldwide as a whole cannot be overemphasized. **They are the mothers of every other profession.** [Source](https://images.pexels.com/photos/5905923/pexels-photo-5905923.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&w=1260&h=750&dpr=2) **Teaching is both an art and science too.** The art aspect of teaching is exhibited by the teachers coming to our classroom and teaching us how things are done *( the mathematics teacher teaches you how to solve questions, the English teacher teaches you how to pronounce their words and so does Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa teachers do also )* The Science aspect of teaching is shown at various occasions where you see the teacher doing a research and taking survey on the students performances and grading them in his or her head, knowing exactly where every student belongs and trying to bring them up to a greater standard *( from below average to average).* He goes extra mile explaining a particular topic to particular set of Students even when others have understood the topic because he knows the abilities of his or her Students. That makes it very easy to explain because it is what we experience from day to day. - **RESEARCH IS EASY** Continuous research in a particular field always helps to bring out new and quality information about a particular subject. The research in the Economics field as a subject is very easy and this helps me in my teaching to make sure that my students are up to date with the information they need. This will prepare them as not just National students but rather international students that will be able to compete everywhere and anywhere they find themselves in. - **COPY LESS NOTE** ***You've ever been to biology classes?*** I was literally crying everytime my biology teacher steps in for her teachings. Most times, she keeps writing on the board and her time gets exhausted without her teaching. I love Economics because there is very little to be written and more to explain. Instead of copying notes the whole day without even understanding most things they've written, the Students will focus on listening and gaining the proper information. - **IN-DEPTH CALCULATION SKILL IS NOT REQUIRED** One of the greatest joy of a teacher is when his students understand and can defend themselves in whatever topic he taught them. Unlike most subjects that require a great deal of IQ to be good in especially in subjects that requires calculation, calculations in Economics are very easy to solve because they are relatable with life experiences. This will make even the dumbest in the class to understand what is been discussed about. - **INCREASES BUSINESS SKILL** As an Economics teacher, I will be delighted that I will be teaching students techniques on how to face the real world. Economics is a subject that will help them understand that whatever decision the government takes will have consequences as regards to their financial strength and amidst those situations, they will remember what I've taught them. They will know practical ways of getting money work for them rather than just speaking about how to do it with without any knowledge of getting it done. **Teaching mathematics or health Education or biology, chemistry and physics or any other subject at all are all geared towards providing money for you which economics will teach you how to use effectively, hahaha.** [Source](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/hombre-mujer-perro-mascota-2425121/)
