I saw Steemgigs as a way of putting out my talent and perhaps landing a job. Instead, I got to meet Terry, a wonderful person.

## Beyond the crypto, beyond the interfaces

At first, I thought that he was just another crypto entrepreneur, but in reality, the man is a fighter and a lover.

He is pouring with passion, something I have had little contact with in the last few years, here in Venezuela, where communist and authoritarianism have made life a living hell.

I offered Terry my help as a web developer, even if I knew little of the tools used for his websites. Still, something just pushed me towards wanting to be a part of this.

## More than a blog

I started to learn slowly but surely. Another developer had taken up the task that I had, but I did not care. I pushed harder. I cared little about the bounty. I wanted to go further, to push my boundaries.

Tasks and jobs come and go, but these ideas, like Ulogs and Teardrops, and these creators, like Terry, are something that one must cherish.

From the other side of the world, introduced by the world of crypto and new economies, this is how I started my journey on Ulogs. I aim to get some Teardrops, but my real goal is to grow and to delve deeper into the possibilities within the hearts of powerful people, and I think Ulogs will allow just that.

One of my favorite Nietzche quotes is

It became the name of my blog at quegrandeeseldesierto.blogspot.com 
But meeting Terry made me think:
