How WRC used to look like 20 years ago
Hi, Steemers!

Domination is not good for the sport. When you have only two champs and it longs for 14 years, it can not be good and interesting for anybody. At least not for me.

I follow the World Rally Championship from the early nineties and that means almost every event day by day, now for 26 years.

I must admit to you that sport used to look much better and healthier in nineties.

More then last 10 years it's kinda boring. Who wants to watch the same winner event by event. For sure not me.

I had my favorites but we all need some kind of expectation when you don't know who will win until the last moment or the last event of that year's championship.

Crowds were much bigger before with lots of spectators then today. These days only hard core fans follow this sport and I am obviously one of them. I will follow it until I will enjoy it.

I hope that something good will come to this sport that will attract younger fans and people to the world of rallying.
